Heather is a sophomore at Tusculum College, currently in her second year of working for The Pioneer Frontier. Upon seeing a newspaper, Heather is immediately enthralled. She strives to be an informed citizen, which is the wind beneath her wings. Her life’s goal is to someday work for Southern Living, and somehow meet Katie Couric in the process.
With Heather, there are two topics that are, or should be, considered off-limits: politics and religion. She would love nothing more than to meet President Obama, to be able to give her opinions directly to “the man.” Heather is a go get ‘em kind of southern gal, and certainly doesn’t mind having to roll up her sleeves and truly get her hands dirty. She uses this attribute to her advantage when it comes to really going for a burning-hot story.
Heather is also a Folk music enthusiast.
